Homemade Bread... a great way to start a studio day. Add cranberry sauce, thawed out from Thanksgiving, and the day couldn't start any better. I can't believe how easy it is to make cranberry sauce which is at least a thousand times better than the can-shaped mass than I used to associate with the phrase. Here's my recipe:

12 oz fresh cranberries
1 Cup water
1 cup sugar
1 Teaspoon Allspice
1/2 cup crushed walnuts

Boil cranberries, water, sugar, and allspice together until cranberries are all burst. Cool. Stir in crushed walnuts.
Chill before serving.
