Between Twitter and Facebook, and all the other social not-working venues, I can forget what I've posted where. I just realized this morning that I never posted the pots from the last firing on this blog! Anyway, here goes:
All of these are destined for The Artisan's Barn in Readfield, Maine, except for the strpeiy mug third from the top. That one was sold after I posted it on Facebook. So I guess the time spent on social sites is not utterly goofing off.
I stumbled onto your blog and I love it. My husband bought me a wheel last March and I have taken two five week classes. Sadly, they have been disappointing. Could you recommend books or any other references that would help me? Thanks, love your stuff.
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel - YouTube is the best resource, outside of lessons, that I can think of. But don't give up! I am not at all surprised that you didn't learn to throw in two five week classes - it took me three years! I am proud to say it has never taken any of my students that long, but it does take months of practice, even for the naturals.
